This is the second mural for the diptych wall project at Bon Sjans Rotterdam. An organisation that helps young men to get reintegrated into society. With the first wall “Out of the dark” I tried to show the start of the process they undertake and this wall symbolizes their culmination of the project. Here you see one of the participants in the full spotlight looking towards the new bright self built future that is in front of him. The line work in the background transitions from the dark in the first wall to light in this one, a very basic but effective means to visually translate the transformation.
