This is my first wall and first time visiting in New york. What a city and what a ride! I want to give a big shout out to Joe, Warren and the whole Bushwick Collective crew for the invitation and to Dutch Culture USA for the connection to come and paint here. Also a big thanks goes out to Centrum Beeldende Kunst R’dam for the financial support in this project.

As some of you might already know I like to paint people in the places you least expect them. Here in NY I painted the portrait of Kharlox Piñeda. A colombian by birth, Dutch by nationality and living on Bonaire, a small island in the Caribbean. Last year i painted his daughter Isabel there and he was kind enough to let me take his photo in the meantime.
